How I’m Transitioning from Embedded Systems to AI Engineering

Transitioning from an Embedded Systems background into AI Engineering has been both challenging and rewarding. My previous experience in software development, Linux-based systems, integration, C/C++ and Python gives me a solid engineering foundation, but moving into areas such as AI, Machine Learning and modern Web Development also requires learning new tools, technologies and ways of building software.

Currently, I’m strengthening my skills through courses, certifications and hands-on projects, while exploring technologies such as LLM-based applications, React, TypeScript, databases and cloud fundamentals.

Rather than starting from zero, I see this as building on top of my previous experience and gradually expanding into new areas of software engineering.
